I am a lecturer and researcher specializing in climate change, atmospheric physics, and remote sensing, with a strong focus on hydro-meteorological disasters. I have a deep interest in analyzing atmospheric processes, utilizing advanced remote sensing techniques for environmental monitoring, and developing strategies for disaster risk assessment and mitigation. I hold a Master’s degree from Shimane University, Japan, where I specialized in rain microphysics and remote sensing applications. My graduate research focused on estimating raindrop size distribution using dual-frequency atmospheric radars, contributing valuable insights to precipitation monitoring and climate studies. Currently serving as a lecturer in the Physics Department at Universitas Andalas, Indonesia, I actively engages in interdisciplinary research projects, academic collaborations, and initiatives aimed at improving climate resilience and disaster preparedness. I have a strong commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and applying innovative technologies to address global environmental challenges.
