Guru Besar bidang teknologi Hasil Pertanian. Dari tahun 2013-sekarang menjadi Koordinator SAFE-Network (Asia Pacific Network for Sustainable Agriculture, Food, and Energy). Ikut mendirikan ILCAN (Indonesian Life Cycle Assessment Network) dan Sawit Center (Center of Excellent is Oil Palm). Yang bersangkutan banyak meneliti Circular Economy Practice in Food and Agricultural Product Processing dan Concern terhadap Sustainability dan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Berpengalaman bekerjasama dengan beberapa Universitas di Luar Negeri seperti Malaysia, Philipphines, Thailand, Vietnam, Jepang, KOREA, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Turkey, dan Pakistan
